The Fantatique Rage of the Late Times: Iconoclasm, Reputation, and Memory in the British Civil Wars

On Wednesday, April 13, the Rutgers British Studies Center invites you to attend a talk by Alexandra Walsham titled “The Fanatique Rage of the Late Times: Iconoclasm, Reputation, and Memory in the British Civil Wars.”

Professor Walsham has published widely on the religious and cultural history of early modern Britain. Her books include Providence in Early Modern England (1999), Charitable Hatred: Tolerance and Intolerance in England 1500-1700 (2006), and The Reformation of the Landscape: Religion, Identity and Memory in Early Modern Britain and Ireland (2011).
